Half day visits in Yazd, the center for Iran’s small Zoroastrian community, to include the active Fire Temple, the fire of which has been burning for more than a thousand year; the tower of silence, the Friday Mosque (1324 A.D.) with the highest portal and minarets in Iran, and walk through the old Fahadan area. Drive to Isfahan.
O/N in Isfahan (breakfast)
Today, is dedicated to this beautiful city, capital of the province Isfahan, in 600 was one of the most brilliant capitals of the East and was known by the nickname of “the other half of the world”. We’ll visit the Great Central Square of the city (now Imam Square), which is really impressive with its backdrop of minarets and domes, columns and arches which over four centuries came together in a unified framework. In the square stands the Mosque of Imam. On another side of the square, however, it overlooks the elegant and slender Loftollah Mosque. Opposite of this mosque is the Ali Qapu Palace (high port) that once represented the monumental access to the royal palaces. The large terrace was once used by the royal box and from this point of view, Shah with his guests watched the shows that took place in the square. The music room inside the palace, impresses with extraordinary decoration of the walls and ceiling with bottles of scale they represent, and musical instruments that had not only ornamental value, but surely should serve to improve the acoustics.
You can find the best handmade Souvenir in the Bazar of Isfahan. Visiting of the Jolfa District, where Armenian community was transferred to revitalize the economy of Isfahan in 1603: the highlight of the visit, the Vank Cathedral. Interesting is here too the most exciting Jame Mosque.

I never imagined I’d fall in love with Iran in just a week. The 7-day itinerary with PITO was perfectly curated — from walking through the vibrant bazaars of Isfahan to stargazing in the desert near Yazd. Our guide was knowledgeable, warm, and made history come alive. Iran’s beauty and hospitality truly surprised me. I came home with unforgettable memories and a completely new perspective.”
I’ve visited over 40 countries, but Iran took me by surprise. Not just for its history and scenery, but for its soul. PITO’s 7-day tour was brilliantly organized. From the turquoise tiles in mosques to sunset over the desert, every moment was magical. The small group size allowed for a more intimate experience, and our guide made us feel like family. Would do it again in a heartbeat
Traveling to Iran had always been on my list, but I was hesitant. PITO changed that. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and welcomed. The 7-day route took us from Shiraz to Tehran with beautiful stops in between. The gardens, poetry, architecture — everything was stunning. The warmth of the people and the thoughtfulness of the itinerary made it one of my most meaningful trips
What an incredible week! Iran is a treasure, and PITO knows how to reveal it. From day one, everything was seamless — welcoming airport pickup, comfortable stays, and a guide who truly cared. My favorite moment? Watching the light dance inside Nasir al-Mulk Mosque. It felt almost spiritual. I learned, laughed, explored, and felt deeply connected to a place I barely knew before
